CHILD PROTECTION

BLTC has a comprehensive Child Protection policy and strives to ensure that tennis is a safe, friendly and enjoyable experience for all young people.

BLTC is committed to making sure that children enjoy tennis in a safe environment in which they are protected from any form of abuse. Our Child Protection policy works to maintain this fundamental right of young people. It also instils good practice and raises awareness for everyone involved in the game. Our policy is backed up by training and education and a sensitive process to respond to concerns.

A series of Child Protection resources will soon be available on this site. They will include best practice advice and guidelines for those involved in travelling with players to away matches and tournaments, and an outline of the Child Protection procedures we as a Club follow when recruiting coaches and anyone else involved in working with young people.

There will also be useful documents, including a Photography Consent form for obtaining permission from parents/carers before using an image of a child and a Club Child Protection Statement.
