CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008 - 11th TO 30th AUGUST 2008
This year the Championships are being run over a 3 week period with the finals being held on Saturday 30th August 2008.
There are 5 events and matches are the best of 3 tie break sets. All events (except the Mixed Doubles) are double-elimination tournaments.

Court Use
During the 3 weeks of the Championships Summer League matches and normal Club Play will be ongoing.
Summer League matches are currently being played on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and when these matches are being played at home they will be be using 2 courts.
Club Sessions are held on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. 2 courts will be reserved for Championship matches during these sessions.
Rules
For the first round the competitors on the upper portion of the bracket are responsible for contacting their opposition to arrange matches. Contact numbers will be available in the Club House or by contacting the Tournament Referee - championships@bangortennis.org.uk
UPDATED: Due to poor weather the deadline for all 1st Round matches in both the Winners and Losers brackets has been extended to Wednesday 20th August 2008.
All 2nd and 3rd Round matches in both the Winners and Losers brackets must be completed by Sunday 24th August 2008.
All remaining matches up to and including the Semi-Finals must be completed by Friday 29th August 2008.
