Tim Blomley & Alexis Russell Clean Up in 2007
It was a frenetic week of tennis with all competitors working hard to complete all of their matches in time for the finals on Saturday 11th August. In fact a number of matches went on long into the night with one or two finishing after midnight!! Tim Blomley & Alexis Russell were the big winners, featuring in 3 finals each. Tim won 2 of his 3 finals and Alexis won all 3 of hers. There were a number of excellent matches and one of the highlights came in the Mens Singles Semi Finals. Michael Heaslip and new member Nicholas Cymerman played an excellent match,the momentum swung between the two players and Michael just edged Nicholas out in the Champions tie-break by 10 points to 7.
