North Down Junior Championships

16 to 20 August saw Bangor L.T.C. host the second Wilson Nesbitt North Down Junior Championships. Just like 2009 the tournament proved to be a huge success with 197 entries across all events (an increase of 11% on 2009). U14 Girls League Play Off

The under 14 girls team have made it into the play offs! The match will be played on the evening of Monday 21st June and will require 3 courts.

The 3 remaining courts will be available for club play as usual. This is a really important match for the girls and we really appreciate the Member’s cooperation.

Update from your Social Committee.

They have been working very hard to come up with fun ideas, but it isn't easy making sure there is something to interest everyone. A number of attempts to run events over the last year like the "End of Season" party, Walking Treasure Hunt etc have unfortunately not been very well supported so dear Members it's over to you...What do you want to do? What events did you enjoy that you'd like to do again? Should all social events have a tennis theme and be run during Club Sessions only?
